Slithering into Spring
Often, the very things we fear can be reinterpreted as chances for growth, creativity, or—dare I say it—fun. Now I’m not saying that I’ll be celebrating my next birthday at the reptile house with a cobra on my shoulders, but I am wondering how much of that fear is real, and how much is just a story we’ve told ourselves?

And of course, it wouldn’t be January without writing about goals, vision, and alignment. But instead of the usual tripe that makes us feel bad about ourselves, I want to talk about those self-doubts that rear their heads as we enter a new year (and a not-so-new version of ourselves).

The holidays are coming, with all their supposed joy and festive cheer, but instead of feeling buoyed by the magic, many of us feel like we’re barely holding it together. It’s strange, isn’t it? We know what we’re supposed to be feeling, making it all the more glaringly obvious that we’re, well, NOT.
